Priorities in life changes with time and technology. A country is said to be developing when major portion of its population is not skilled and depends on working population. With growth in infrastructure, and increase in educated population, the cycle rotates and slowly and steadily it shits towards becoming a developed country.
Developed economies are result of educational, agricultural and
industrial revolutions. All are interrelated. Industries need skilled, semi
skilled and unskilled workers, administrators, planners, business developers
etc. all man power requirements are fed by schools and colleges. In schools and
colleges educated human resource is needed, which is fed by these institutions
itself. When computers stepped in, we did not have many computer engineers. As
time passed, computer experts are easily available as children starting opting
for specialized studies in this field. This was the result of social demand.
Education system introduced new courses at school and college level.
Education changes the mindset of people as a whole. Earlier girl
education was a big no, but now women can be seen in every field, be it being a
doctor, engineer, journalist, designer, chef, artists, lawyer, IAS, IPS or in
any corporate field. Not only are they opting to study and sore high, they are
trending in many unconventional field not considered fit for girls like –
journalism, public relation, fashion, finance, defense etc.

introduces schemes like Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan, Ladali Scheme etc. Worth of a
